Cyclist Glen Baxby stopped into Swift Current yesterday to raise funds for Cancer research. Baxby has been journeying across Canada since May 13th. He started his route in Vancouver and plans to end in Signal Hill, Newfoundland on July 14th. The 61-day journey will cover over 7300 km. The journey was planned after Baxby’s long time friend and co-worker was diagnosed with a rare type of Lymphoma in December.

To date Baxby has raised $24,214.05 for Cancer research with an overall goal of $500,000.00.
