23 year old Troy Swanson of Vernon BC was taken into custody on Friday after police found 151 kg of cocaine in his vehicle. Swanson was alone in his car and he was pulled over 8 kilometers west of Waldeck. He made his first appearance in Swift Current Provincial Court on Monday charged with one count of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking. The case will be put over until April 7th at 9:30am, Swanson will remain in custody until that time.
