On Wednesday evening in the House of Commons, David Anderson, MP for Cypress Hills-Grasslands was one of 159 MPs who voted to kill the long gun registry at a third and final reading.

Anderson states: This was a momentous and historic vote that has been a very long time in coming. The passing of Bill C-19 demonstrates that the Government stands with law-abiding farmers, duck hunters and rural Canadians across this country. We made a promise when Canadians elected a majority government and we have fulfilled that promise.
