Outdoor enthusiasts are reminded to take safety precautions while enjoying ice fishing on Saskatchewan Lakes this winter season. The Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment states that due to a lack of snow and fluctuating temperatures, a variety of ice conditions are now evident across the Province.

You're advised to be alert of changing conditions, open water, cracks, slush and water on the ice and ice ridges.
