At a cost of $100 000.00 per acre, Mayor and Council have approved the purchase of 1.46 acres of land off Gibbs Street near the Palliser Care Centre. The decision to purchase the land in question from the Saskatchewan Property Management Corporation, could lead to the construction of a new 25 unit Townhouse project.

The City’s Director of Business Development, Marty Salberg further stresses that if the Townhouse project does not come to fruition, the City will still be in a good position with the title to the land and open to any future development projects.
