Following guidelines set out by the Province, the Cypress Health Region is joining other Regional Health Authorities in establishing an independent Strategic Plan. The concept will cover a 3-5 year term focusing on key issues important to health care and the Region as a whole.

Beth Vachon, CEO of the Cypress Health Region indicates the Strategic Plan for the Southwest is comprised of areas of focus raised by local healthcare staff and administration. Areas of focus for the Cypress Health Region may include slip and fall rates, surgical percentage quotas to the flow of patients through the system during their required time of care at any of the facilities across the Region.
