With mild temperatures and strong gusty winds in the forecast for Today, fire crews in Southwest Saskatchewan are keeping a close eye on the situation. A large grass fire near Walsh has now been contained with flames isolated to neighboring straw bales.

The Walsh fire resulted from flames spreading from Southern Alberta where a number of fires were reported on Wednesday South of Calgary.
