The Village of Val Marie is hoping you'll buy a ticket in their Cabin Lottery with proceeds going towards the restoration of the local elevator. Tickets are $50 each and only 1000 are in circulation leading up to the September 1 draw. Tickets are available from the Village of Val Marie Office and several local businesses.

$40 000 has already been raised locally and through a Saskatchewan Heritage grant to re-roof the elevator. Additional funds are now being raised for new siding and to re-store the building's interior. The goal is to turn the elevator into a Museum.
