Manitoba Man Released on $10 000 Bail

28 year old Kyle Dufort was released yesterday after posting $10 000 cash bail. Dufort was arrested alongside Jason Bastian after they were allegedly found in the possession of 506 marijuana plants and 8 pounds of raw marijuana. Bastian is being held in custody until his show cause hearing on Monday August 25.

The drugs allegedly found on the men have a street value of over $500 000. If convicted, each man faces a maximum penalty of life in prison. Dufort's next date in court is scheduled for September 17. Watch Friday's show for all the details.
