This morning, a warrant to enter a dwelling was executed on the Nekaneet First Nation in a search for Preston Buffalocalf. Buffalocalf was wanted on a warrant from Fort Qu'Appelle RCMP for Robbery with violence since early December 2011 and in connection with an aggravated assault in the Maple creek area earlier this month. While acting on the warrant, there was a brief foot chase and Preston Buffalocalf was arrested and taken into custody by the RCMP.

RCMP Members from Leader, Maple Creek, and Swift Current GIS assisted in the execution of the warrant and arrest. Meanwhile, 20 year old Kelfert Wayne Watetch of Regina is still at large. He is wanted on charges of Second Degree Murder and Robbery with violence.
