Following the media announcement that Nancy Harvey will be inducted into the Saskatchewan Golf Hall of Fame this September, the City of Swift Current has declared August 6, as Nancy Harvey Day. Swift Current is Harvey's former home and a special celebration in Harvey's honor will take place during the Harvey/ Habcheid Battle of the Sports Golf Classic next Friday.

Nancy Harvey is one of 19 individuals who will be inducted into the inaugural class of the Saskatchewan Golf Hall of Fame in 2010. Harvey competed in the LPGA Tour from 1989-2008.
