RCMP across the Province were busy over the weekend attending a number of motor vehicle accidents with a majority of the incident on Saturday when the adverse weather hit many areas. Motorists are advised to check road conditions with the Highway Hotline at 1-888-335-7623 and drive according to current weather and road conditions. The weekend accidents resulted in 4 injury collisions, 23 reported as property damage and 15 of the collisions resulted in minor property damage.

The latest road report from the Highway Hotline this morning indicates Reduced Visibility in the Weyburn and Regina regions. All Highways across the Southern portion of the Province are reporting Icy/Slippery Sections, Loose Snow and Swirling Snow, with some areas reporting Drifting Snow and Snow Drifts.
