Starting March 9, Swift Current residents will be paying more for recycling through their monthly City utility bill. The Recycling fee will jump from $1.00 to $4.00 per month.

According to the City's Director of Engineering, Mac Forster, the recycling fee has held steady since 2009. The increase will assist the City in covering operational costs for recycling and provide immediate and future capital enhancements to the facility.
