Thanks to current market conditions, SaskEnergy can continue to offer its Provincial customers the lowest natural gas commodity rates since 2001. According SaskEnergy officials, the Crown utility lowered its commodity rate by 13 percent to $5.21/gigajoule back on November 1, 2009, its lowest rate in eight years.

SaskEnergy reviews its commodity rates on a continual basis and will look at the market value again this fall.
