The City of Swift Current has saved Thousands of dollars over the past several months thanks to mild, dry conditions. Snow removal crews haven't been busy since early December, and efforts have since been focused on sanding any icy streets in question, water runoff issues and potholes.

The City of Swift Current budgets approximately $500 000 per year for snow removal.
