Southwest Communities Receive Infrastructure Funding
10 projects across Southwest Saskatchewan are benefitting from the latest installment in the Building Canada Fund Infrastructure Program. The funding is allotted by the Federal and Saskatchewan Governments through a cost sharing effort to communities with a population of under 100 000.
Here in the Southwest the following communities will receive funding for a number of projects from water treatment to landfill upgrades: Climax, Coteau, Eatonia, Riverhurst, Meyronne and the RM’s of Pinto Creek, Grassy Creek, Mankota, Monet and Victory.
