Students from across the Region were busy on the ice on February 9 and 10 competing in SWAC District curling. The winning teams included: Girls: A - Maple Creek (Hoffman), B- Maple Creek (Palmier); Boys: A-Swift Current (Lamontagne), B- Fox Valley (Kosolofski) Mixed:A - Cabri (Green); B - Maple Creek (Burgess).

The SWAC/Chinook SD Senior Mixed curling champs are from Cabri School. L to R Skip Russell Green, third Tayler Stenerson, Coach Kendall Wicks, 2nd Klarke Braaten, lead Mariah Jacklin. Missing coach Ron Brawn. Cabri School will host the High School Provincial Mixed Curling Championships at Abbey rink on March 2 and 3.
