The Southwest Enterprise Region will be busy in 2012 expanding its' Business Research and Development Program with in-depth interviews with 75 businesses across the Region. In order to advance its regional priorities and projects, SWER believes additional research is required to fully understand the business climate in the Southwest, particularly in the areas of finance, labour, technology usage, innovation and investment confidence.

Over 30 businesses and organizations participated in the Strategic Team discussions in 2010/2011 stressed a need for additional dialogue.
