5 new child care spaces will be allotted to the Swift Current Comprehensive High School Day Care Centre. The additional space is part of an announcement made by the Province of Saskatchewan this week covering 11 communities and a total of 496 new child care spaces across the Province.

The Total investment by the Province of the Saskatchewan for this round of the program is $1.67 Million. The overall goal for 2009-10 is to bring the total number of child care spaces across Saskatchewan up to 11, 400.
