2014 will be a year long celebration as the City of Swift Current marks its' Centennial. A press conference was held on Monday afternoon to introduce the board Co-Chairs and other committee members. Pat Friesen and Dave Spencer will Co-Chair the 2014 Centennial Committee joined by Community Liaison Herb Butz, Communications Co-ordinator Elden Moberg, Event Co-ordinator Travis Cuthbert, Senator Pat Smith, and City Representatives Gord Budd and George Bowditch.

In the coming weeks the Centennial Committee will work on establishing a budget, theme and overall lineup of events for 2014.
