The City of Swift Current is advising motorists that Chaplin Street at Central Avenue will be narrowed to one lane this afternoon. The electrical contractor is continuing to work on the traffic light standards today and therefore there will be various interruptions throughout the next week while work is finalized to install the new traffic lights.

Motorists are advised to slow down in the area and take alternate routes as indicated by detour signs posted.
