As of November 2009, Southwest TV News was the most-watched program on the Saskatchewan Communications Network, according to a survey that was conducted by the network.

Most notably, viewership was not confined to the Southwest but was widespread across the province including the cities of Saskatoon, Regina, Prince Albert, Yorkton, Moose Jaw, Swift Current and eleven other rural locations. Of the respondents in the survey, 69% stated that access to a television station that provides local television is important to them.
